Can't see it happening in the near future. There's too much money involved. And if one market goes under, there's always someone else who'll step up. Tariff's would impact but I don't think labs are getting raws shipped from the states that were imported from china. Usually it's the raws get flagged under CBSA and confiscated, and then the lab eats the cost and reimports again hoping this time it doesn't get taken away. But test powder is so freakin' cheap I just can't see it happening.
Right now it is pretty dire , Most customers don’t see what we see, The raws are most definitely drying up and there are a lot of fake raws in circulation. This is because shady dealers are taking advantage of the situation. And what others have said there are still raws a available through other sources and that’s not really as much of the issue in obtaining them, The issue top tier labs have with this is the quality of the raws . Some are poor quality and cause quality issues in the end product which can sink your lab. We are out of several products just because we refuse to sacrifice the quality of our items for poor raws. Once we find a quality and reliable raws source we will stock all the items we are out of.

Primary raw producers (there are only a handful) in here the PRC have been put under much tighter production and export control rules for the time being. This is one reason you are seeing raws becoming more difficult to obtain although they are still flowing in a much more limited capacity.
UGL providers (resellers) of RAW's in the PRC have been getting picked off one by one by the authorities.
There are a lot of crooked new companies popping up that were able to get there hands on balance of inventory from said UGL's that where shut down and are diluting the raws and selling them at larger markups (primarily for items such as primo).
People have been trying to pull new supply chains together from India, Bangladesh, etc but the quality is pretty stark when compared to what was being produced here in the PRC.
Will this eventually come to an end? Yes. Why? Money talks. When? No idea. Its happened before but never to this scale.

The raws from India are hit or miss and it’s most time a miss, They aren’t cooking the test down properly while producing the finished powders. It’s leaving a lot of the acid residue in the finished powders and it cause a very painful pip and that’s with the lab using stellar brewing practices if the raw isn’t finished properly your finished product won’t be of high quality.
